Google, if you believe in various leaks, really wants to create smart and best noise cancelling headphones and incorporate Google Assistant’s voice assistant into them. After a small investigation, colleagues from the site 9to5Google could make sure that the first smart headphones will be Bose QuietComfort 35 II .
So, on Monday they found in the code Google Assistant for iOS icons with the image of the headphones, and the silhouette of the image, code-named “baywolf” perfectly superimposed on the images of the best noise cancelling headphones of 2017 QuietComfort 35 II, leaked into the network in August. Now in the hands of 9to5Google official documentation Bose, and it clearly states that QuietComfort 35 second generation will indeed be one of the first smart headphones that support Google Assistant.
Retailers’ consultants also confirm this: earlier this week one of the site’s visitors wanted to buy QuietComfort 35 at the Australian Life Style Store, but store employees told him that “in 2-3 weeks” there will be a new model, with Google Assistant. After that, another site visitor shared with 9to5Google photos of the headphone box, which shows the Google Assistant built-in logo and a button that activates the voice assistant.
The new QC35 from the previous version visually differs only by the presence of a voice assistant activation button and will be available in black and silver versions. In addition to the voice assistant, the headphone functionality includes “adjustable noise reduction” and “double noise canceling microphone”, which in a noisy environment catches the voice of the owner distributing voice commands.
Batteries for headphones will last for 20 hours. The new version of QC35 will be, according to rumors, like the previous version – 330-350 US dollars. Most likely, best noise cancelling headphones will officially be presented at the Google conference, which will be held on October 4.
